Erik Sohner – Spokane Falls Community College - Photography and Filmmaking Instructor (Program Lead, Photography)

I have been a faculty member in the photography department at Spokane Falls Community College Since 1998. I tech introductory courses, photo graphic art and beginning and advanced application/theory and lighting classes in both studio and location environments. My background is primarily in advertising and illustration photograhy with over 35 years of professional experience, having operated my own studio for may years as well as having worked in commercial advertising and catalog photography for top studios in the region. My educational background includeds an AAS in photography from SFCC, a BA from the Brooks Institute, and an MFA in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  Currently my focus is on teaching, fine art photography and creating short films.
