In this on-set video tutorial, Emmy-winning cinematographer, Jason Tomaric guides you step-by-step through the process of lighting a cinematic dialogue scene on location. Featuring two people at the dining room table, this scenario presents both challenges and solutions when shooting in a sunny environment with windows.

This is part one of the tutorial, which covers the lighting and shooting of the one angle of the scene. Please continue with Part II for the reverse angle on the other actor.
