The Greater Cleveland Film Commission (GCFC) is the only nonprofit dedicated to bringing jobs and economic impact to Northeast Ohio by supporting a thriving and adaptive local media industry. The GCFC relies on the support of businesses, community partners, and the generosity of individuals for funding.

Since 2009, Northeast Ohio has seen more than $463 million in economic impact and created more than 3,400 full-time equivalent jobs thanks to media production.

GCFC was instrumental in procuring state funding for a standalone School of Film & Media Arts at Cleveland State University, and has continued involvement in the development of the school's faculty and curriculum after its opening in Fall 2017.

With GCFC gearing up for more film and media projects in 2019, we are focusing our efforts to increase the Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit to $100 million. With your support, GCFC is committed to creating jobs, growing our population and bringing more business to Cleveland.
