ABOUT THIS LESSON
When you hear the work electrician, you may think about a contractor who wires your house or a building. Electricians on set do much, much more.  In addition to understanding power and electricity, set electricians know how to operate generators, run cabling to power the set, and light the scene, as they are responsible for setting up and focusing the light fixtures per the gaffer’s orders.

In this lesson, we take a detailed look into the role of an on set electrician.
  • 16:37 video covering the role of the electrician on set
  • Illustrated companion guide
